Russian visa route for Israel passport holders

The central MFA table lists ordinary Israel passports on a visa-free route: up to 90 days. That answers the entry route, not every condition of the trip.

What the central source establishes

The short answer, without the sales pitch

For an ordinary Israel passport and an activity covered by the bilateral exemption, do not buy a tourist invitation merely because the destination is Russia. The central table currently shows a visa-free route of up to 90 days. Work, study, residence, journalism and other regulated activities can still require a different permission. Recheck the agreement immediately before travel, especially for repeat visits.

{ one passport, two authorities }

Entry route and application checklist are different questions.

This separation prevents the most common country-page error: copying one embassy checklist and presenting it as a worldwide rule.

What changes when the trip changes?

01 / Visa-free route

Short qualifying visit

For Israel, the official ordinary-passport record currently states up to 90 days. Use it only for the purpose, passport type and repeat-trip limits written in that rule.

02 / Unified e-visa

Up to 30 days, one entry

Israel is absent from the current specialist e-visa list. Do not treat the digital route as available unless the official portal changes.

03 / Regular visa

Regular tourist or business visa

A Israel traveller can still need a regular visa when the stay, entries or real purpose fall outside the simpler route shown above.

04

Longer, repeated or different trip

A stay beyond the exemption, repeated trips that exceed a cumulative limit, or a purpose outside the agreement can move the traveller into a regular category.

05

Work and study are not tourism

Israel: Paid work and study normally begin with the Russian employer or educational institution. Re-labelling the trip to fit a simpler product creates an inconsistent application.

{ prices by passport · no default }

Tourist invitation prices for Israel

For Israel, the price is capped at an exact matching public-market tariff rounded down to the whole euro; an already lower price is kept. Where that benchmark does not sell the same country, duration and entries, the Global Voyage database or the existing country review rate remains in place.

A price does not mean an invitation is needed. Follow the visa-free or e-visa route above when it covers the actual trip.

What must be checked with the application post

Israel: Passport nationality alone cannot answer these items. Before submission, identify the mission or visa centre with jurisdiction over the applicant’s place of lawful residence and confirm:

  1. 01

    Israel · whether that post accepts the application and what proves lawful residence;

  2. 02

    For Israel, confirm the bilateral purpose and stay calculation, then check whether the current ruID experiment applies; do not buy an invitation by default.

  3. 03

    its current passport-validity, blank-page, photo and application-form rules;

  4. 04

    which category-specific support it accepts, including whether the 372-r hotel route applies;

  5. 05

    insurance wording, fee, payment method, appointment and processing options;

  6. 06

    rules for minors, non-citizen residents and group applications.

Can Israel passport holders use Russia’s unified e-visa?

No current specialised e-visa record was found for Israel. A traveller should use the published visa-free rule if one applies, or determine the correct regular visa category.

Do Israel passport holders need a Russian visa invitation?

No invitation is normally needed when a Israel passport holder stays within the published visa-free purpose and duration. A different purpose or an over-limit stay can move the trip to a regular category with its own support.

How long can Israel passport holders stay in Russia without a visa?

The central table currently publishes up to 90 days for Israel ordinary passports. Purpose, passport conditions and repeat-trip caps still apply, and the separate ruID pre-entry check does not extend the permitted stay.
